Weekends are a good time to visit shelters to adopt your new best friend.........but don't forget about the weekdays! Many shelters stay open later at least one evening during the week. Most shelters put animals to sleep every day so don't wait for the weekend to adopt. The pet you have your eye on on our website on Tuesday may not be available the next day. So a word to the wise..... if you see a pet you are interested in Call that shelter the first day you see them. Even a phone call to the shelter alerting them of your interest may give the pet a few more days at the shelter before they are put to sleep.
